Arrival and Departure
Check-in is available from 2 PM to 7 PM. A representative will be present at both check-in and check-out to provide all necessary information.
As the owner does not live on site, please inform us of your arrival time at least 24 hours in advance to allow for proper planning.
Check-out is possible between 8 AM and 10 AM, but the accommodation must be vacated by 10 AM at the latest.
House Keys
Upon arrival, guests will receive a key to the house and a code for the gate. A fee of 5,000 HUF is payable for lost keys. Please keep the house and gate doors locked during your absence and at night.
Parking
Parking is provided for 2 cars within the property and for 1 additional car across the street.
WiFi
The guesthouse offers high-speed WiFi free of charge.

Neighborhood and Peace
To ensure the tranquility of our neighbors, loud noises in the house and garden are prohibited after 10 PM! Behavior that disturbs others’ peace, security, or privacy is not allowed at any time. Complaints from neighbors or behavior leading to police intervention will result in the immediate expulsion of the guest without a refund.
Guests Under 18
Our guesthouse welcomes children.
The use of the jacuzzi and grill, as well as the elevator, is not permitted for guests under the age of 18.
Dining
The guesthouse is equipped with a well-furnished kitchen and dining area. Please use these spaces for dining. Breakfast can be requested upon booking. Guests staying for 3 nights will receive a complimentary Spanish gourmet package.
Valuables
We are not responsible for valuables brought into the guesthouse!
Pets
Although we love animals, to maintain the interior of the house, we unfortunately cannot accommodate pets at Maravilla.
Furniture and Appliances
Please use all furniture and appliances as intended and comply with fire and accident prevention rules. Do not move decorations or take indoor items outdoors. Do not place metal objects in the microwave oven. Rearranging furniture is not allowed.
Removing any objects or equipment from the guesthouse is strictly prohibited and will result in a police report.
As with any household, things in the guesthouse can sometimes break. Please notify the host of any malfunctions immediately upon discovery or at least before departure to prevent further issues or accidents. Guests are not permitted to attempt repairs; doing so is potentially dangerous, and the host assumes no responsibility for injuries that may occur.
Cleaning
The guesthouse is thoroughly cleaned before each guest’s arrival at no charge. For longer stays, we provide a weekly change of bed linen and towels.
If a guest stains the furniture or upholstery due to improper use, an additional cleaning fee of 15,000 HUF will be charged.
Please do not kill insects inside the house or smear them on the walls.
Household waste should be disposed of in the sealed trash can under the sink; trash bags are provided. Full trash bags should be taken to the trash can located near the garage.
Laundry
The washing machine in the house is available to use free of charge; detergent and fabric softener are provided.
Jacuzzi
The use of the jacuzzi while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited! The interior of the jacuzzi is slippery; please be cautious.
The jacuzzi cover helps retain heat, so please cover it after use, especially overnight.
The host provides all necessary instructions, both verbally and in writing, for the recommended and safe use of the jacuzzi. The host is not liable for any injuries or illnesses resulting from non-compliance.
The jacuzzi must be used at your own risk!
Bringing food and drinks into the jacuzzi is not allowed. Contamination will result in an additional cleaning fee of 40,000 HUF.
Terrace
Leaning over the terrace railing is dangerous and prohibited!
The use of he terrace under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not allowed!
Garden
The garden is carefully maintained by the host. Please take care of the plants and garden equipment. Everyone uses the garden furniture and barbecue at their own risk; guests are required to clean the barbecue after use. Do not leave fires unattended, and ensure they are completely extinguished after use.
Visitors
Only registered guests are allowed to stay in the guesthouse.
Fire Safety
We prefer LED candles over real candles, which we also provide to our guests.
The barbecue requires careful attention; do not leave it unattended! Local fire regulations must be followed at all times. The guest is liable for any damages
caused by negligence, including the cost of alarms.
Smoking
Smoking (including the use of IQOS and e-cigarettes) and the use of incense are prohibited inside the building!
Designated smoking areas are provided in the garden. Smoking is not allowed within 5 meters of closed windows and doors.
If cigarette smoke is detected inside the house upon departure, an additional cleaning fee of 20,000 HUF will be charged due to the extra cleaning required for upholstery, curtains, decorative pillows, etc.

Items Not Allowed on the Premises
The following items are prohibited on the premises as per current legislation: corrosive or flammable chemicals, explosive materials, fireworks, firecrackers.
Bringing drugs or psychoactive substances into the guesthouse is strictly prohibited!
If the host detects any of the aforementioned items, he may immediately request the guests to leave. In such cases, the accommodation fee is non-refundable.
Personal Electrical Devices
The guest is responsible for any damages caused by their personal electrical devices and must reimburse for any damages.
Borrowed or Complimentary Equipment
Guests are required to use borrowed or complimentary equipment as intended. The guest is financially responsible for any damages or losses incurred and must reimburse for these damages.
Liability for Damages
Guests use the guesthouse, its furniture, equipment, garden, and its equipment, terrace, and jacuzzi at their own risk!
The guesthouse operator is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur on the premises! Guests acknowledge that by booking the guesthouse, they accept the terms of use and the house rules stated herein.
From this point on, the guesthouse operator bears no liability!

Regarding the glazing of doors and windows, current prices apply. The value of items not listed on the list will be determined based on current market prices by the accommodation provider. The prices listed above may increase according to the rate of inflation!
The guest is obligated to reimburse for any damages in cash or by immediate, on-site transfer before departure, otherwise, the operator will file a police report.

Nagymaros Free Beach
The Nagymaros Free Beach is freely accessible during the summer season
. Everyone bathes at their own risk and must comply with the operational rules posted at the beach. Fishing is not allowed, and animals (especially dogs) are not permitted on the beach area.

Excursion Sites
The Danube Bend is full of hidden treasures waiting for you to discover. Hiking and trekking enthusiasts should not miss the nearby Hermit’s Cave and Julianus Lookout in Nagymaros, Calvary Chapel and Bald Mountain in Márianosztra, the Szent-István church in Nagybörzsöny, or the Dragon Hill in Zebegény. For families, we especially recommend Királyrét and the narrow-gauge railway.
With the ferry from Nagymaros, you can cross to Visegrád in just a few minutes, where Salamon Tower and the Citadel, the Devil’s Mill Waterfall, Magda Spring, and Telgárthy Meadow offer opportunities for active relaxation. There is also an adventure park and bobsleigh track near the castle for the whole family’s enjoyment.

GENERAL ACCOMMODATION SERVICE CONTRACT TERMS
1.) The General Accommodation Contract Terms / hereinafter GACT / summarize the basis on which Maravilla Nagymaros (2626 Nagymaros, Szamaras Street 393) operated by Máté Mátyus (tax number: 41573699-2-41, registered office: 1022 Budapest, FILLÉR STREET 65. 1. door) hereinafter Service Provider) enters into accommodation contracts with its Guests.
2.) The services provided by the Service Provider (hereinafter Maravilla Nagymaros) are used by the Guest. The Service Provider and the Guest collectively, if the conditions are met, become contractual parties (hereinafter Parties). The Service Provider Guesthouse is only in contact with the Guest, does not accept requests, instructions, demands for contract modification, or cancellation from any other person. 3.) The Service Provider always sends a written offer in response to the Guest’s verbal or written request. If a specific order does not arrive from the Guest by the deadline specified in the offer, the Service Provider’s offer obligation expires. The agreement is only established with the Guest’s written booking and the Service Provider’s written confirmation return, and thus it qualifies as a contract concluded in writing. A verbal booking, agreement, or amendment thereof, or their verbal confirmation by the Service Provider, does not constitute a contract. The Service Provider Maravilla Nagymaros Guesthouse requests a deposit from the Guest for the contract to be established. The deposit is 50% of the total amount of the booking and ordered services. The deposit amount must be transferred to Máté Mátyus’s account at OTP Bank, account number 1177306100537652, within 3 days from the booking date (however, no later than 14 days before arrival). The booking number must be referenced in the transfer’s message. The deposit transfer qualifies as an order. The deposit can also be paid with an SZÉP card, in which case the deposit fulfillment must be confirmed by sending a copy or notification of the transfer to the Service Provider. The accommodation deposit can also be paid by card when booking on our website.
In the case of online booking on the accommodation’s website, the settlement of the booking value can be done in the following ways:

The accommodation service contract is established for a specified period. If the Guest permanently leaves the house before the expiration of the specified duration, the Service Provider is entitled to the full consideration of the contracted services. The Service Provider is entitled to re-market the vacated house before the expiration date. If the Guest initiates an extension of the specified duration, the Service Provider’s written consent is necessary for the contract amendment. In this case, the Service Provider may stipulate the reimbursement of the fee for the service already provided. An amendment or addition to the contract requires a written agreement signed by the Parties. The condition for using the accommodation service is that the Guest verifies their identity before occupying the house. No one can live in the house without registration.
4.) Start and End of Accommodation (check-in and check-out)
The Guest has the right to occupy the booked house from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM during the specified time interval. In the event that the Guest does not appear by 7:00 PM on the agreed day, the Service Provider has the right to withdraw from the contract unless the Guest notified of a later arrival time beforehand. If the Guest has paid a deposit, the house remains reserved until 9:00 AM the day after arrival. The Guest must vacate the room on the day of departure between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Due to the time required for cleaning and disinfection protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic, late departures are not possible. The extension of the stay by the Guest requires the Service Provider’s prior consent. If the Guest does not vacate their room by 10:00 AM on the designated day of departure and the Service Provider has not previously consented to an extension, the Service Provider is entitled to bill for an additional day and concurrently, the Service Provider’s service obligation ceases.
6.) Prices
The current prices of the Service Provider Guesthouse can be found in the online booking system (https://maravilla.hu/booking/). The Service Provider may change the advertised prices without prior notice. If the Guest has booked the accommodation and it has been confirmed in writing by the Service Provider Guesthouse, the Service Provider cannot change the price thereafter. When disclosing the prices, the Service Provider indicates the tax content of the prices (the VAT rate valid at the time of the offer, regulated by law). The published prices include VAT and include the tourist tax.
7.) Cancellation Conditions
The Guest is required to immediately communicate the cancellation of the ordered accommodation and other services in writing to the Service Provider. The ordered service can be canceled without a penalty fee up to 14 days before arrival. Subsequent rules apply after this period: The Guest is required to pay a penalty fee for cancellations made within 14 days before arrival or later. The Service Provider may retain 100% of the ordered but canceled services as a penalty fee. The penalty is settled and paid following the issuance of the invoice. The basis for the penalty is the price specified in the confirmation. The provided credit card or SZÉP card details, in addition to the transaction for the deposit, can also be used for the transaction for the cancellation fee.
If the second installment of the accommodation fee is not paid by the Guest by the 14th day prior to arrival, the accommodation provider may cancel the booking and is entitled to retain the deposit amount.
In the case of guests who purchase a gift voucher, if any installment does not arrive within the specified deadline, we retain 100% of the amount paid so far as a penalty fee.
8.) Payment Method
The value of the ordered service beyond the deposit must be paid no later than 14 days before arrival by transfer, SZÉP card (acceptance location: Maravilla Nagymaros), or online card payment.
In the case of online booking on the Maravilla website, the settlement of the booking value can be done in the following ways:

9.) Rejection of Contract Fulfillment, Termination of Service Obligation
The Service Provider is entitled to immediately terminate the accommodation service contract and refuse service provision if – the Guest does not use the provided house properly, causing damage – the Guest does not vacate the room by 10:00 AM on the day indicated as the day of departure upon check-in and the Service Provider has not previously consented to an extension – the Guest behaves objectionably, roughly, under the influence of alcohol, or drugs, exhibiting threatening, offensive, or other unacceptable behavior – the Guest suffers from an infectious disease – the Guest does not fulfill the deposit payment obligation by the specified date. If the contract between the parties does not materialize due to “force majeure”, the contract terminates.
10.) Rights and Obligations of the Guest
By concluding the contract, the Guest acquires the right to use the rented accommodation and the facilities usually made available at the accommodation as well as to receive service during the opening hours. The Guest is obligated to pay the fee agreed in the contract by the deadline specified in the confirmation. The Guest may only bring and operate electrical appliances that are part of their travel necessities. The Guest is required to dispose of waste only in the trash cans provided at the Maravilla Nagymaros area and in the rooms. Furniture cannot be taken out or relocated from the rooms and the building. The Guest may only use the equipment and furnishings throughout the entire guesthouse at their own risk. The guesthouse is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. If the Guest does not comply with these rules, the rules set forth in point 9.) come into effect. If the Guest smokes in their room, the Service Provider is entitled to charge an additional cleaning fee of 50,000 HUF.
11.) Bringing Pets
Maravilla Nagymaros happily accepts pets if we are informed prior.
12.) Rights of the Service Provider
If the Guest does not pay the fee for the services ordered and not used, the Service Provider is entitled to a lien on the personal property brought by the Guest to the accommodation. The Service Provider may prevent the removal of the property subject to the lien for as long as the lien exists. The restriction only applies to the property subject to the lien; persons are free to leave the guesthouse.
13.) The Service Provider, in fulfilling the obligations specified in the contract, is obliged to act in accordance with the laws on the protection of personal data and public data. The Service Provider handles the personal data provided to it in compliance with the applicable laws, ensures their security, takes the necessary technical and organizational measures, and establishes procedural rules required for compliance with the applicable laws. The personal data are used by the Service Provider exclusively for contract conclusion and billing purposes.
14.) By concluding the accommodation service contract, the Guest accepts that they have read and understood the conditions and rules described above and agrees with their contents.
15.) The Service Provider informs the Guest that for issues not regulated in these general conditions, the Civil Code and the contract concluded between the Guest and the Service Provider are the guiding principles.
